Our Philosophy - Integrated Care at all Levels
Integrated Systemically
The human body is not a grouping of isolated systems. It is a complex and highly interconnected whole. Our interdisciplinary team works with that ‘whole’—the whole person—to restore physical, structural, emotional and energetic balance for sustained wellness and movement.
Integrated Team Approach
The MaxFit team includes integrated expertise from complementary and alternative health care as well as conventional western medicine. This insures that our patients get the best of all worlds and creates synergies between the various therapies that contribute to the best overall results for our patients. Our team approach provides a much larger tool box to work with and a broader range of experience to draw from. The MaxFit team becomes your resource for healing through our deep and diverse base of in-house knowledge and experience and our far reaching network of experts and friends.
Integrate You
At MaxFit we work with you as your guide, the leader of your integrated health care team. But it is you that is the centre of the treatment program because healing and health begin with you. The human body has an innate ability to heal itself and it is this power that we base our treatment strategy around. Our client-centered approach also allows us to truly hear your experience and make shared decisions.
Integrated Knowledge
We continually expand our knowledge base by conducting and participating in leading edge research in a broad range of topics across the integrated care model including human activity, movement wellness, mind/body medicine, and ergonomics. And we share our knowledge by acting as a community resource, a place where you can come for not only treatment, but information and education.
